Community Fund Scheme
Community is at the heart of a successful recovery program, and what better way to ensure that is the case than to put the funds in to the hands of the community. Our subgrants program, the Falls Creek Communtiy Fund Scheme, has already delivered $70,000 to support projects and initiatives of community members. To date, we have seen projects which offer business support and capacity building, community connection events and mental health and wellbeing projects - a read through the past projects below.
Our Fund Scheme has been extended! There is $50,000 available to support community projects, up until the end of December 2025! Got an idea? Get your application in!

The links below will take you to the guidelines and the application form, which will have all the information you need. All applications are sent to the recovery team, who support the internal review process to ensure that projects aligns with the eligibility criteria. Projects which are deemed to be eligible then get sent on to the Falls Creek Community Recovery Committee, made up of local volunteers, who ultimately decide whether to endorse the project or not.
