Ski Patrol

Falls Creek's Ski Patrol are the first people on the slopes each morning and the last off the hill at the end of the day. It’s their job to check mountain safety and ensure your alpine experience is as safe as possible. 

All Falls Creek Ski Patrollers are trained professionals and are qualified to deal with any emergency that may arise. There are inherent dangers involved with snowsports and Ski Patrol are your best friend should you find yourself in need of assistance. 

Look out for Falls Creek's Ski Patrollers in their distinctive red and white jackets as you make your way around the ski fields. They are never far away. 

Getting Help From Ski Patrol

If you are in need of Ski Patrol; 

• Call 5758 3502 - this will connect you to the emergency Patrol dispatch hotline 
• Ask a lift attendant to radio for Ski Patrol - there will be an attendant at the top and bottom of each operational lift 
• You can also head to Ski Patrol base - this is located at the top of the Monkey Bar Poma (in-between Cloud 9 and Scotts Chair) 

If there is a person involved in an accident and/or with a suspected injury on the slopes, take a pair of skis and create a cross several metres uphill of the injured person. If there are only snowboards on hand you should lay them upside down, uphill of the injured person. This will assist Ski Patrol in locating you and alert other skiers and snowboarders to keep clear of the injured person.

Altitude Physio and Massage operates during the snow season and is open 7 days. The clinic is located in Frueauf Village. You'll find it just below Milch Cafe on the ground level (Room 2) at 4 Schuss Street.

Pharmacy Services

The nearest pharmacist is in Mt Beauty. During winter scripts can be filled there and sent to Falls Creek by delivery service (not available in summer) and can be collected from the Falls Creek Alpine Resort Management office, 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm. Some over the counter medications are available from the Falls Creek supermarket. Some paediatric over the counter prescriptions may be purchased at the medical centre but are only available after a consultation with a doctor.
