Falls Creek 2020 Snow Season Message

Falls Creek welcomes the announcement by the Victorian Premier that the snow season will commence on 22 June 2020, and the subsequent announcement that lift operations will commence on the 24 June 2020 for skiing and snowboarding.

Under the current restrictions, the lifts will not be turning on the Queen’s Birthday weekend. Daily limitations will be applied to resort entry from June 6th - June 22nd. 250 resort entry day passes will be released per day and they must be purchased online. You can only purchase resort entry passes up to 7 days in advance of your visit.

Daily limitations do not apply to season pass holders or those with accommodation booked.

RESORT ENTRY SEASON PASS HOLDERS: Until the 12th of June, resort entry season passes holders do not have to register online and instead, can register your visit/passengers when you arrive to collect your pass in resort.

Falls Creek is a four seasons family friendly resort located in the Alpine National Park of North East Victoria, Australia

Our highest lifted point is at 1780 metres, and during winter the village transforms into a ski-in, ski-out winter wonderland, with over 450 hectares of progression perfect downhill terrain. We boast some of the best cross-country skiing in Australia with 65kms of groomed trails, and other winter activities include tobogganing, fat biking, snowmobiling and guided backcountry skiing.

During the green season Falls Creek offers a wide range of activities for families and adventure enthusiasts, including hiking and trail running, cycling, watersports, fishing and the Falls Creek Mountain Bike Park. The park hosts over 40km of world class gravity trails, accessible to the newest of bikers and enticing to the most experienced.

We are approximately 350km from Melbourne and 30km from Mount Beauty which is located at the base of the mountain. You can easily day trip to Falls Creek from the surrounding towns, or you can stay and enjoy our magnificent sunsets.

The village provides a range of incredible accommodation and dining options, with many restaurants using delicious local produce sourced from the surrounding Victorian high country. You can even go glamping or on a historical walking tour which includes a gourmet picnic. It is a truly a resort for everyone.
