Paul Van Der Ploeg
Born and bred just down the mountain in Mount Beauty, Paul, or "Vandy" as we call him, lives and breathes bikes. Winning the XC World Champ title in 2013, Vandy turned heads and quickly became an admired and beloved character in the world of XC, Road and Gravity Enduro racing.
Standing at 6ft4 with a giant personality to match, you'll generally see Vandy with a microphone in his hand as MC at major cycling events or in front of the camera on new SBS TV series 'Trail Towns'.
Sammy McMahon
Hailing from our close neighborhood Bright, Sammy is a true mountain dweller. An Everest summit? Check!
Find Sammy charging up and down Mystic, Mt Beauty and Falls Creek MTB parks in summer, summitting the worlds highest peaks on foot, cooking up a storm in the kitchen at Bright Brewery and volunteering any spare time she's got left to building and maintaining new trails for her beloved MTB community.
You'll always find Sammy pumping up the girls (and boys) in any Falls Creek event and shouting Bright Brewery beers for her competitors at the finish line.

Britt 'Mogul' Cox
Having grown up on the Falls Creek slopes, Britt was a passionate mogul skier from a young age. Becoming one of the youngest Autralian Winter Olympians at just 17 years old. Her undying talent and passion for the sport led her to become a 4 time Olympian, and Australia's first female World Champion after winning gold in 7 of 11 events in the 2016/17 season.
Since her retirement from competitive skiing, Britt continues to inspire us as a sportswoman and a great human being.
Chris Panozzo
A man of many disciplines, this guy can be found racing Downhill, Enduro, Cross Country and even the occasional road race.
Mount Beauty Local and natural behind the bars, Chris is a 'go fast' kinda guy with two National Enduro Championship titles under his belt.
