Falls Creek Child Care Winter 2021

Falls Creek Child Care is a small centre licensed to care for a maximum of 16 children at any given time, catering for children from 12 weeks to school age in a family grouping (mixed-age) setting.

We offer a year-round service providing Long Daycare and 3- and 4-year-old Kindergarten Programs to families within the local community.

Availability of places for Occasional Care can be offered on a casual basis to guests visiting Falls Creek during the winter season. These places will be dependent on the number of permanent enrolments attending each day.

Bookings

We are currently accepting year-round bookings for Long Day Care and 3&4 Year Old Kindergarten. (Green/Summer Season, Mon-Fri, White/Winter Season Monday- Sunday).

Occasional Care (Guest Care) enquiries for the winter season are currently being accepted. Enquiries are being placed on a waitlist and will be processed according to the order in which they are received. Our staff are working through the list to confirm bookings on a daily basis. Due to the irregular nature of Occasional Care, (once off or short time bookings) Child Care Subsidy is not available on these places.

As you would suspect our waitlist is extensive and places during peak times such school holidays and August already heavily booked. Spare places are extremely limited. We cannot fulfill all requests made by families but may contact you at a later date if something should become available.

Enrolments

All successful enrolments will be required to return the fully completed enrolment form along with an Immunisation History Statement from Medicare. The enrolment packet will contain information on enrolment requirements, what to bring, illness before/during care and the Winter Educator Team.

Operating under a Covid Safe Plan, Falls Creek Child Care will not accept any child that shows visible signs of illness or has had pain relief within the last 24 hours. All families enrolled are considered in agreement to the Illness and Exclusion Policies and. All families will be asked to complete a Health Declaration Form online daily, prior to the start of care.
