FEASTIVAL Falls Creek a major success!

FEASTIVAL Falls Creek a major success! 3 days of music, arts, comedy and food in the glorious Victorian mountains.

The mountains came alive this weekend with FEASTIVAL Falls Creek! From music to arts, comedy, and mouthwatering food, it was three days packed with fun for everyone.

The Saturday afternoon’s Feast de Resistance featured a huge line-up of music acts including headliners Ball Park Music, who got the call-up just 24 hours before they were set to take the stage. After the devastating cancellation of The Temper Trap, event organisers were quickly able to replace the iconic group with Ball Park Music, who jumped on the next flight from Brisbane and saved the day.  Alongside them, a lineup of Aussie talents like The Grogans, Thelma Plum, Holy Holy, Vaudeville Smash, The Maes, Savage Honey and more kept over 1600 attendees grooving all day long.

But it wasn’t all about the music, a total of 10 individual events took place as part of the FEASTivities including pilates, yoga, art exhibitions and workshops, foodie tastings, of course the sold-out Comedy Night had guests roaring with laughter at the Frying Pan Inn on Friday night thanks to hilarious acts like Geraldine Hickey, Tuck Shop Ladies, Jordan Barr, Concetta Caristo, and Ben Kochan.

Lucky ticket holders of the Astra Degustation lunch on Sunday were treated to an emotionally inspiring performance from the Melbourne String Quartet ‘Invictus’ while dining on the award-winning restaurant’s 4 meticulously prepared courses with matched wines.

"The weather perfect, the crowd was amazing and our local stakeholders put on some seriously good food, it just couldn’t have gone any better! To see the resort buzzing with energy, bringing our village to life again after last year's cancellation has been amazing. We're so proud of this event and will continue to grow and improve it every year!’’ shared event organiser.

"For our community, having a music festival right here in the mountains is truly special. The kids have been having a blast with face painting, dancing, and circus games all day long.  Count us in for next year!" Attendee Sharon Lucas said.
