A New Age of Windy Corner  

Perched as a natural meeting point and gateway to cross country skiing and tobogganing Windy Corner is set to be revamped this year under new management.  

Windy Corner now reflects a broader shift across the resort, inviting guests to consider new ways of taking on their next ski adventure. Everest Sports has made the move from Bright to our front door at Falls Creek, offering everything from cross country and backcountry retail to operating the toboggan slope. This change will make winter easier to access while opening the door to deeper, more varied experiences at Falls Creek.  

Whether you’re curious about cross-country skiing for the first time, gearing up for a backcountry adventure, or simply looking for a fun snow-play option for the afternoon, Windy Corner acts as the new launchpad. Everest Sport will help springboard this location and provide the expertise and equipment needed for those just wanting a taste of snow on the toboggan slope to those venturing into something new and challenging.

Snowmobile Tours  

If you are looking for a more horse powered approach to your trip and wanting to chase twilight and the scenic views not just from the chairlift, Falls Creek Snowmobile Tours might be a great addition for your next trip.  This is a very unique experience to the Victorian High Country and there are plenty of options for couples, family or groups of friends to enjoy a new way of seeing the mountain.

Guided Tours & Backcountry Skills

Beginner Bundles  

If getting on skis or a snowboard has always been on the bucket list but has felt out of reach. Vail Resorts has launched a beginner bundle this season, with everything you need to get started on the slopes this year. Falls Creek is one of the most accessible hills in Victoria both for the drive to the resort, the ski in ski out experience when staying in the village and the progressive terrain which perfect for beginners or a mix of abilities. June is always a good time to experience the snow for the first time with fewer crowds to navigate, so if hitting the snow is new for you that might be the perfect time.
