Skiing & Snowboarding
Progression Perfect Downhill Terrain
Falls Creek features a massive 450 hectares of skiable terrain - that's the largest of any resort in Victoria. With roughly 90 runs accessed by 14 lifts, there is something to suit every skier and snowboarder’s ability.

Beginners (Green)
Those at the beginners (green) end of the spectrum will have great fun in the Drovers area and on Wombat's Ramble, Australia's longest green run at 2.2km. There is no need to be nervous about unloading from the chairlift for the first time on skis, because Halleys Comet and the new Eagle Express are both detachable lifts which mean you can ride them without skis on for a simple step-off at the top.

Intermediate (Blue)
60% of Falls Creek's downhill runs are intermediate (blue) and what we like to call "progression perfect" terrain. Nowhere else offers such opportunity to improve your skiing or snowboarding with a gentle step up to a slightly longer, steeper or more technical run. There are also two intermediate terrain park lines perfect for boarders and skiers keen to learn and progress their park riding skills.

Advanced (Black)
For the advanced rider the Summit is packed with steep black runs and is the launching pad for the deep powder stashes and tree runs of the Maze. Ride International for the longest Poma ride in the country, packed with a steep climb and iconic "Corner", for the best access to Falls Creek's black runs.

Lift Tickets
Accessing the lifts at Falls Creek is easy. You can purchase your Lift Tickets online and load directly to your Snow Pass - a resusable RFID card that gets you access to Falls Creek's network of lifts. Snow Pass is easy to use and can be used at both Mt Hotham and Falls Creek.
Snow Passes are available to buy online for $5 and you only need one per person. Check out the Online Store to quickly and easily load Lift Tickets and Snowsports School products onto your snow pass in minutes.

Night Tickets
Wombats Ramble lights from 6pm - 9pm on Wednesday and Saturday nights allowing skiing and snowboarding adventures to continue after the sun goes down.

Cross Country Skiing
Falls Creek is Australia's home of Cross Country Skiing. It’s a huge part of the unique activity base that makes Falls Creek so special, and it includes more than you may think. Skating on fast corduroy trails, exploring new terrain off-piste in the National Park, making tele carves down the lift-accessed runs - it is all part of this booming winter snowsport.
With its iconic landscape and terrain that rivals the best in the world, it’s no wonder the Australian National Cross Country team calls Falls Creek home. Our 65km of groomed trails are the pristine High Country at its best.
