Falls Creek Alpine Resort presents a Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow event, Snow Capped Comedy. Pack your fluffy ears and granny's thermals and prepare for some après-ski madness on the Queen's birthday weekend, with three raucous shows featuring comedy's coolest comedians

With three big shows, including a gala offering just for kids, this is going to be the coolest comedy show going around on the snow season opening weekend celebrations.

All three shows will be held at The Man Hotel in beautiful Falls Creek.

Bob Franklin: Bob Franklin is an award-winning comedian, writer, director, author and actor. Well known in the International Comedy circuit, he is also renowned for his work on Australian TV writing and starring in shows with Jimeoin, Mick Molloy and Shaun Micallef

Josh Earl: Josh Earl is an award winning comedian, cake enthusiast and host of TV show Spicks and Specks. He has consistently moved through the ranks of the comedy world, sharing stages with the likes of Tim Minchin, Russell Kane and Arj Barker. As a solo artist he now sports nine sold out festival seasons and is a favourite with festival audiences all over the country.

Penny Greenhalgh: Penny Greenhalgh is an award winning comedian and regular cast member/director on The Checkout (ABC1).  Her debut solo show Pop Pop won the Best Emerging Artist Award at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and had sell-out crowds at Melbourne & Sydney Comedy Festivals in 2015. 

Dr Professor Neal Portenza: Dr. Professor Neal Portenza Was Nominated and Highly Commended for The Golden Gibbo (best Independent Production, 2011 Melbourne International Comedy Festival) and Won Best Comedy At 2012 Melbourne Fringe. He Studied Clowning At école Gaulier In Paris, is Precisely 6’ Tall, Weighs Around 75kg and Has a More Than Passing Resemblance to A Particular Historical Figure of Some Import.

Aunty Donna: In 2012, Aunty Donna exploded onto the Melbourne comedy scene with a unique brand of surreal, fast paced, alternative sketch. Their debut show Aunty Donna in Pantsuits was nominated for the illustrious Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Golden Gibbo Award, and the Donna’s have since gone on to create an award winning YouTube channel, garnering over 100 thousand subscribers and 12 million+ views.

David Quirk: Melbourne-based stand-up comedian and actor David Quirk is a regular presence on the Australian and international comedy circuit. For those who like their comedy so dark it's burnt, Quirk's material travels between the profane and profound, often finding comedy in our darkest moments.

Geraldine Hickey: Geraldine Hickey is an Australian comedienne and podcaster. She is best known for her successful festival shows and her podcast The Downlow, a comedic look at the AFL with fellow comediennes Kate McLennan and Anne Edmonds.
