Childcare - Falls Creek

A brand new Falls Creek Occasional Child Care Centre (open in winter only) is located in the St Falls Development at the base of the Falls Express chairlift. The centre is open to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.


Spaces are limited so it is recommended to book early to avoid disappointment, especially for morning sessions and in school holidays. Please understand that making a request for a booking, does not automatically mean your booking has been successful.

  • Before winter please call Falls Creek Resort Management on (03) 5758 1200, or during winter on (03) 5758 1244 to confirm availability.
  • Please download attached booking form, complete and return by fax to 03 5758 3415 or scanned copy by email to fcrm@fallscreek.com.au.
  • We will confirm your booking.

Centre Hours & Rates for Winter 2010



Our centre is open 7 days a week throughout the snow season.

Morning Session (8.30am – 12.30pm) $60
Afternoon Session (1.30pm – 4.30pm) $40
Full Day Session (8.30am – 4.30pm) $100
(rates are for 2010 and subject to change)

Discounts
*Full day sessions drop to $90 on day 4 & onwards (consecutive) - NFDA
* A 10% discount applies to the above rates per child for siblings - NFDA
NFDA = No further discounts apply

Please be aware that a strict late fee of $10 is charged for every 15 minutes the parent or guardian is late to collect their child/ren. The centre clock is used to calculate late fees. Please consider lift queues and potential lift stoppages when organising pick up times.

What to bring



• Nappies
• Mid morning and afternoon snacks
• Lunch if in a morning or full day session
• Drinks and / or made up formula
• Change of clothes
• Any special dietary requirements
• Security item i.e. dummies, blankets, toy
• Completed Registration Form (PDF, 30kb)

Childcare Centre Policy



A parent / guardian agrees to collect or make arrangements for the collection of the child referred to in the enrolment form if she/he becomes unwell or is suffering from any conditions deemed contagious;

A parent / guardian consents to the staff of Falls Creek Occasional Child Care Centre, or where appropriate, administrating, such emergency medical treatment as is necessary and will reimburse any necessary expenses incurred by the centre.

Payment is required on the day of the booking. The centre will not accept a child unless their session is paid for. STRICTLY no credit and no paying after the session.

The centre does not have the staff or the facilities to care for sick children. It is not fair to expose a sick child to other holiday makers in the centre or our staff. Our staff will refuse to accept or will send home children who are suffering from diarrhea, conjunctivitis, green runny noses or any potentially contagious bug. No refunds, part or full, will be given if a child is sent home.
