Someplace Else Bar and Grill is looking for experienced and motivated Grill Chefs and Kitchen Hands to join our team for the 2020 Ski Season. Situated in the heart of the Falls Creek village, we are a busy restaurant and bar, specialising in mainly Burgers.

As a Grill Chef you will be essential to the successful operation of the kitchen on a daily basis.
You should have 3 years experience in a similar high volume environment, a minimum Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery Qualification and plentiful experience in Grill and Pan work. Experience in Larder and Deep Fryer also essential

As a Kitchen Hand you will be required to work with the chefs in assisting them, preparing food, plating dishes, dishwashing and cleaning duties. You should have prior experience in this role.

The qualities we will be looking for in our applicants will be the ability to work in a fast paced environment, effective time management,  task priority and sequence of service, impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards, attention to detail and,  all the while with a positive happy attitude.

The positions are temporary full time roles under the hospitality award. You are required from June to October, on a 38 hour week including weekdays, evenings and weekends. You will have two full days off a week and receive holiday benefits at the end of the season.
