Falls Creek introduces secure ski storage facility

Falls Creek is pleased to announce the opening of its new secure ski and snowboard storage facility in Slalom Plaza.

The quandry of what to do with ski gear at the end of the day has been solved with the opening of this new facility at Falls Creek.
With the village offering an enviable range of food and beverage options, those keen to head straight out to dinner or to the bar for apres ski have historically been faced with the issue of whether to head home first or take their gear along with them for the evening.
Guests can now securely store their skis, board and boots in the Ski and Snowboard Storage building. Conveniently located beside the Falls Creek Express bottom station, the service makes it ideal for guests to to drop off their gear after a last run on Wombats Ramble and head straight out into the village. The following morning, the facility is open early to allow for easy pickup before first lifts open.
Jo Prothero, Marketing Manager for Falls Creek Resort Management said the new service offers a new level of flexibility to guests.
"With the new storage facility our guests don't need to worry about carrying their gear around with them after finishing up on the slopes. You can just drop in, check it in and head out on the town stress free."
Prothero said the big advantage will be for those who like to make the most out of their time in the village.
"Whether it's happy hour or an early dinner reservation you want to get to, it means you are under no stress to take your skis back to the lodge or leave them outside unsecured. It also means you aren't heading out to dinner in your ski boots!"
The storage facility is situated beside the Falls Express chairlift in Slalom Plaza and is open from 8:00am to 10:00am in the morning and from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the afternoon.
Skis, Snowboards and boots are able to be stored. Guests are advised to check at the facility for pricing.
