September 07,2015 In Snow

Last Friday Falls Creek Ski Patrol held their annual Moster Raffle - the last fundraising event for the 2015 season.

With a big turnout from the Falls Creek community and visitors, around 150 people showed up to the Frying Pan Inn for the event. Truly showing their support for this essential service to the mountain, a total of $1,900 was raised  from the raffle. Falls Creek Ski Patrol Director, Matt O'Keefe, said the funds will enable Falls Creek Ski Patrol to remain one of the best trained and equipped Ski Patrol teams in Australia, continuing to deliver a high level of service to the resort. The funds raised will go towards additional training for Ski Patrollers, additional first aid and rescue equipment above that funded by Falls Creek Resort Management and equipment to be used in providing back-country awareness to the public.

Falls Creek Ski Patrol wish to extend their thanks for the generous donations made by local businesses in Falls Creek and Mt Beauty, without whom the fundraising efforts would not have been possible.
