Pow, Pow, Pow! The snow gods have finally listened to our prayers, they have observed the snow dances and given a raised eyebrow but subtle nod to the naked midnight rituals at Eagle Rock (well maybe not that last one). It doesn’t matter what it was that did the trick, the big point is we have seen 42cm of fresh SNOW come down in the past 4 days and Falls Creek is back to its ski-in, ski-out best.
Despite a wild old day out there (the gods have delivered.. but maybe a bit angry still about being roused out of bed), the smiles are ear to ear around the village as visitors have enjoyed a fantastic weekend of natural snow on the ski fields. 10 lifts are now open including Ruined Castle, Scotts, Eagle and Gully and there are some great lines to be had in the favourite spots of Sun Valley.
Snowplay and Cross Country are also the big winners from the storm with the toboggan slope re-opened and many more XC trails being prepared for grooming
Get on up and get out there this week – the season has finally arrived and Falls Creek is ready to deliver your memorable snow holiday!
