Falls Creek was awash with colour on Saturday night as a record number of skiers took part in the annual Light the Night Ski for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Each spring Leukaemia Foundation supporters take part in a series of "Light the Night" walks, shining lanterns of hope to cure leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. This year was the second year of the Light the Night Ski at Falls Creek and a huge number of participants turned out to show their support. Last year, 60+ skiers raised over $1,500 from the inaugural event. This year the number of participants was doubled and the total raised $4,188!
Thanks to everyone who was involved in this special event.
