Falls Creek has announced the winner of the Collingwood Training Camp competition.
Recently visitng Falls Creek as part of their pre-season training program, AFL team the Collingwood Magpies spent a week testing its first to fourth year players in the challenging conditions of Falls Creek at altitudes of 1600 - 1850m above sea level. Closing out the week was an "adventure Race" style challenge where players were required to run and mountain bike through the Alpine National Park landscape.
In supporting the training camp, Falls Creek Resort Management and Frueauf Village Falls Creek offered the chance for fans to pick which of the attending players would complete the course fastest to win a summer stay at Falls Creek. There was strong backing for Myrtleford-bred Jack Crisp with obvious local knowledge, however new recruit James Aish proved the best performer on the course to come in fastest.
Falls Creek and Frueauf Village would like to congratulate Carolyn Hazeldine who correctly chose James Aish and is the winner of the grand prize. Carolyn has won 3 Nights in a Studio 2 share apartment with balcony spa and complimentary hamper & mountain bike rental.
