Get to know your camera in the stunning surroundings of Falls Creek Alpine Resort
Charlie’s photography workshop runs over the weekend so you can make the most of the outdoors and really enjoy your learning experience – It’s all about the journey!
Each workshop is designed to teach budding photographers how to use their digital SLR cameras manually in the awe-inspiring alpine surrounds of Falls Creek. This visually stunning area is the perfect place to learn the art of photography.
Accommodation and meal packages are also available.
Charlie Brown has lived in Mount Beauty for several years, spending time at Falls Creek and in Europe shooting various commercial photography. He knows this part of the country intimately and has an exquisite talent for capturing the High Country at its majestic best.
Charlie is a regular contributor to The Age and Herald Sun in winter sports photography and is responsible for much of the professional photography to come out of Falls Creek Alpine Resort.
Being in the relaxed and friendly company of others with the same interest is a wonderful way to spend a weekend.
Workshops begin Saturday morning with some theory before venturing outdoors to put newfound skills into practice. A break for lunch (provided) then learning more theory leads to heading back out for another invigorating session of practical application.
Saturday evening takes in a stunning twilight shoot around incredible features Rocky Valley Lake or Mount McKay.
Sunday is spent mostly in the field before breaking for lunch, a brief wrap up, and then home to review all the amazing images and plan those for pride of place on your home or office wall.
