MTB Offroad Rides Falls Creek

Ride Falls Creek to Mt Beauty via a selection of long distance touring trails.

For the serious mountain biker it doesn't get any better than a long distance trek, bush bashing and rock hopping along the way. A range of long distance trails head out from Falls Creek for the one-way journey to Mt Beauty (and one toward Omeo). Keep in mind these trails cover significant distance (around 30km - 40km+) and take on extreme terrain and trails that are not often cleared or maintained. For this reason they should only be attempted by experienced and prepared riders.

Riders should have:

  • Adequate experience and fitness level
  • Sufficient water (trails encounter limited water sources)
  • Spare parts & repair kit / tools
  • First Aid kit
  • Charged mobile phone
  • Adequate safety gear (including helmet, sunglasses and sunscreen)
