Experience the history of a mountain, village and community at the Falls Creek Museum.
Housed in the Panabode Building on Slalom Street (the building adjacent to the Falls Creek Express Lift), the museum will celebrate, through displays, exhibitions and audiovisuals, our vibrant past.
The Museum is curated by the Falls Creek Historical Society and features displays dating from the mountain cattlemen, workers on the hydro schemes and the men, women and children who have shared a passion to build our unique resort. Our objective is to preserve and share the rich and varied history of Falls Creek and the adjacent Bogong High Plains.
In 2016 the Museum will showcase the 21st birthday of the CFA in Falls Creek whilst paying tribute to our home-grown Winter Olympians and highlight the importance of Ski Patrol on our mountain.
The museum will operate throughout the 2016 winter season - entry is via gold coin donation.
