CROSS COUNTRY SKI LESSONS

The YMCA Falls Creek Nordic Centre operates Falls Creek's XC Ski School.

FALLS CREEK NORDIC CENTRE

The YMCA Falls Creek Nordic Centre is the hub for Falls Creek's cross country skiing activity. Located at Windy Corner, it is alongside one of the resort’s largest day car parks so you can drive straight to the Centre and XC Trailhead. In addition to hosting the XC Ski School and providing for all XC gear rental needs, the Nordic Centre is combined with a public day shelter that has toilet and shower facilities. Toboggans are also available for hire to use at the adjacent toboggan slope. To get to the Nordic Centre drive past the Village until the car park just before the road closure or take a complimentary shuttle service from Slalom Plaza or the Gully.

CROSS COUNTRY SKI LESSONS

Improve your skills or try something new this Winter with a Cross Country Ski Lesson from the Falls Creek Nordic Centre. Private and group lessons are available with experienced instructors and can be combined with ski hire packages. Most XC lessons take place in the nearby Nordic Bowl. Being close to the Nordic Centre means it is nice and easy to stop in for a coffee or hot chocolate after a good day's ski.
