Long recognised as one of Australasia’s premier alpine resorts and winter playgrounds, Falls Creek also offers a superb range of activities, attractions and events throughout the year in every season.

What to pack
|
If you are visiting Falls Creek in summer, you will need little more than a pair of hiking boots, a sense of adventure and an appetite for great food, wine and High Country scenery.
In winter we suggest you pack plenty of layers as temperatures at Falls Creek vary greatly. This is also really important if you are planning on skiing or boarding and critical for the kids.
Most people dress casually here, even in the high-end restaurants on the mountain. We suggest you pack a pair of snow boots and leave the heels at home.

What to bring
|
No matter what time of year you visit it’s a good idea to bring:
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and goggles Warm protective clothing to be worn in layers (especially if overnight hiking or skiing)
- Water resistant gloves, wind proof jacket and pants
- Sturdy shoes with good tread for walking in our magnificent high country or in the snow
