Falls Creek Village Roads

Village Roads

Falls Creek is a small village and everything is within walking distance along the narrow streets.

One of the best things about Falls Creek is its village. With quaint, winding tree-lined roads this charming alpine village lends to the european style of ski resort. During Summer there are no parking restrictions and you can park your car right next to your accommodation (NB: restrictions may apply during specific major events).

Everything at Falls Creek is within walking distance and it is a great way to get some exercise getting to know the village. There are, however, some shortcuts that can save you some time.

Accommodation Transfer Terminal to Slalom St
This elevated walkway connects the Accommodation Transfer Terminal to the Slalom St/Arlberg St intersection beside The Man Hotel. It is the easiest way to get from the Bogong High Plains Rd to the center of the village.

Wide treads and low risers enable easy two-way passage for guests and solar panels provide excellent handrail lighting in all conditions.

Schuss St to the Village Bowl
This steel and timber walkway begins at the end of Schuss st (at the top of the village) and takes you through to Max's Restaurant in the Village Bowl.

Making your way to the Village Bowl from the Slalom Plaza side of the village is easiest with this walkway as it means an easier climb than via Falls Creek Rd.

Slalom St to Alberg St
This walkway runs alongside Halleys Ski Hire (opposite Christie Street) and takes you up a steel stairway running beside Icicles Lodge to Arlberg Street, opposite Kilimanjaro Apartments.

Bogong High Plains Rd to Snow Gums Ln
This handy staircase connects the main road (Bogong High Plains Rd) to accommodation on Snow Gums Lane. it is located about 15 metres from the Police Station.
