INTERSCHOOLS RACE TRAINING



Falls Creek has always had an enviable reputation for the best and most consistent snow depth, which has been enhanced by our snowmaking capabilities. Alongside state of the art grooming, Falls Creek excels in maintaining good snow conditions and prides itself on preparing race tracks to a high standard within the Ski Industry.

Our top class competition/training slopes, frequented each season by international training groups provides an exhilarating test of an alpine racers’ mental, physical and technical skills.

Our internationally trained coaches can greatly improve and refine racing skills in preparation for Interschools competitions and ensure that racers are constantly being elevated to perform at the top of their ability.

Falls Creek offers three permanent race lanes so training/racing can be held at any time. Falls Creek is committed to provide a quality of service guarantee to ensure that all competitors and guests receive first class service and that their every needs are catered for.

HOLIDAY TRAINING CAMPS



This newly evolved program replaces the formerly known Holiday Race Camp program, specifically designed for children aged 9 -15 looking for a new challenge in their skiing or boarding. The program can help develop strong fundamentals, as well as raise performance to the next level, or prepare for Interschools competition.

Skiing: This program balances freeride training, alpine racing with guided freeskiing across the whole mountain. Participants will progress to new school manoeuvres in terrain parks, jumps and rails as well as improve racing skills on designated training courses. Intermediate/ advanced skiing ability is assumed however no prior experience in racing or terrain parks is necessary.

Snowboarding: This program focuses developing fundamental snowboarding skills including terrain parks, jumps, rails, racing and guided freeriding across the whole mountain. Participants will also spend time cruising the mountain gaining valuable mileage to refine skills. Intermediate/ advanced boarding ability is assumed however no prior experience in racing or terrain parks is necessary.
