Ski or board for $10 a day - Official Home of Falls Creek Alpine Resort

(Updated Tuesday 11th May 2010)

Ski or board for $10 a day.

If a skier or boarder purchased a Super Pass at Falls Creek they'll gain access to the alpine resorts network of ski lifts for just $1,149 (a kids Super Passes is $649) for the entire season if purchased by 27 May.

That well-priced pass is valid for the 2010 winter season (116 days) and can also be used at Hotham and Perisher Blue.

As most enthusiastic skiers and boarders travel to their favourite resort as often as possible the Falls Creek Super Pass represents particularly good value-for-money.

If it was used every day of winter (which is unlikely) it would cost about $10 a day to ski or board at Falls Creek. However, a more likely scenario is four weekends and a week's schussing the slopes at Victoria's largest alpine resort. That would work out at about $76 a day which is a considerable saving.
Plus the Super Pass can be redeemed for a day's skiing or boarding at Hotham and Perisher at no extra charge.

A similar saving applies to kids aged 6-14 years. If they used their version of the Super Pass for the same period of time (four weekends and a week) it would cost the equivalent of around $43 a day. Now that's a good deal for the parent's winter sports budget!
