For season 2010, Falls Creek will transform Australia's longest green run into Australia's newest night skiing and boarding playground. Wombat's Ramble is a Falls Creek favourite and we have lined the entire trail with lights so on Wednesday and Saturday nights you can enjoy skiing and boarding well after dark. Now you don't have to pack away your skis once the sun goes down, gather the family, grab some mates and enjoy the thrill of skiing under lights.
Ride Falls Express Chairlift to Cloud 9, then from the top turn downhill for 2.2 km of illuminated excellence finishing at Quay West. High voltage floodlights, run on Green power, will light the way bringing another dimension to your skiing and boarding. With the completion of a high capacity snowmaking system along the length of Wombat's Ramble, new top-to-bottom snowmaking will ensure you can ride at night earlier in the season and later during the season.
