The Falls Creek Medical Centre (03) 5758 3238, is situated on the Bogong High Plains Rd next to Gebis Ski Hire at the bottom of the Gully Chairlift.

The centre is open every day during winter from 10am – 12.30pm and 2.00 – 5.30pm however is closed during summer.

Experienced Doctors are on site at Falls Creek in winter for general practice consultations and snow sports injuries. X-ray facilities are available. Patients are seen in order of arrival and medical priority so appointments are not made.

Payment with cash, credit card or eftpos is expected at the time of consultation. Medicare rebates can be claimed and these claims can be made online from the medical centre if medicare details are provided at the time. Bulk billing is not available.

After hours medical care:

During winter a doctor is available at all times for urgent problems. All after hours phone calls are directed to a mobile number; be prepared to write down instructions. An AMBULANCE is available on the mountain.

For emergencies dial 000. The doctors recommend ambulance insurance for all visitors and mountain staff.

The nearest chemist is in Mt Beauty. Phone 03 57544 224 to arrange for a script to be filled and sent up to Falls Creek by courier. In winter scripts can be collected from Falls Creek Resort Management 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm.
Some non prescription items are available from the Falls Creek Medical Centre. Prescription items can only be issued following a consultation with a doctor.

Ski Patrol:
|
Falls Creek's Ski Patrol are trained professionals who's role is to minimise the inherenet risks involved in all snowsports. They will also be the first medical assistance called to accidents on the slopes and arrange safe transfer to the medical centre if required.

If you witness an accident, stay with the injured person and call Ski Patrol on 03 5758 3502 and the nearest ski patroller will attend the scene as soon as possible.
