Francis & Jo Jackson
|
Francis came to Falls Creek in 15 years ago and Jo came to Falls Creek 4 years ago, both working winter seasons. It was at this point they met and decided on living in Falls Creek year round.
Francis is the Director of the Snowsports School and Jo is currently on maternity leave with their 3 month old daughter, Romy.
"I have worked in many places around the world and have always had an affinity with the outdoors and the lifestyle that it offers" says Francis. "Jo and I value the ability to step into outdoors from our house with no travelling coupled with the views and nature that surrounds us, we call this home" he says.

Simon & Wendy Rawlings

Summit Ridge Lodge
|
Thirteen years with Unilever moved Simon Rawlings between Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney and afforded him the quintessential corporate lifestyle. Yet four years ago, Simon walked away from his managerial role and into Falls Creek's four and a half star Summit Ridge lodge.
These days, Summit Ridge's restaurant is one of Alpine Australia's most-awarded and Simon and his wife Wendy, have achieved their dream of becoming successful restaurateurs.
"Our move was definitely one driven by lifestyle, but it was also about opportunity," he says. "We had a five-month-old son (Jack) and we were asking questions such as 'do we want to spend the best part of a million dollars on a decent house and do we want our kids to grow up in Sydney?"
Simon and Wendy now have a second child (Sophie) and they spend their summers in their house in the nearby Kiewa Valley township of Tawonga and they are looking to buy land for their next home.

Ross & Peta Passalaqua

Falls Creek Resort Management
|
Originally a civil engineer, Ross has spent much of the past three decades travelling the world and progressing through various technical, operational, commercial, and leadership roles.
"I have lived in many countries and my work has taken me through five continents," he says. "For me and my partner Peta, the alpine region of north eastern Victoria just has to be one of the best parts of the world."
"We presently have some really exciting projects on our agenda at Falls Creek," says Ross. "The people who come on board with us in the period ahead will have the opportunity to enjoy a stimulating and challenging work environment and importantly, for their work to leave a positive and lasting legacy.''
