One of the great reasons why Falls Creek is the ideal mountain destination in Summer is its proximity to Rocky Valley and Pretty Valley Lakes. When the heat is on, there is no better way to stay cool than by exploring them on water!
Kayaks can be used on Rocky Valley and Pretty Valley Lakes. You can also bring along your own boat. Rocky Valley Lake has boat ramps on either side of the dam wall and most types of boats up to 10HP capacity are allowed.

- Maximum speed limit 10km/hr
- Boating not permitted between dam wall and red floating beacons or within 30m of shore (except at launching ramps)
- Boats must be launched at launching ramps only
- Power boats not permitted on Pretty Valley Lake
