MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Falls Creek Resort Management - the organisation accountable for the development, promotion, management, and use of the Resort - is seeking to recruit a talented and passionate Marketing and Communications Manager. Reporting to the CEO, this senior role provides an opportunity to make a major contribution to the development of Falls Creek as a world class all season’s alpine destination.

We are seeking someone who will:
  • Develop, support and implement strategies, products and promotions designed to establish the Resorts all season credentials that will increase all year round visitation.
  • Play a key role in product quality and service delivery standards across all aspects of the guest experience
  • Facilitate and support effective and contemporary mechanisms for the coordinated promotion and branding of the resort
  • Be effective in leading and managing key marketing activities such sponsorships, public and stakeholder relations, advertising and promotions, events, visitor information and resort entry
  • Provide effective communications for a wide range of audiences including resort guests, stakeholders, and government.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a marketing/communications role
  • Demonstrated understanding of alpine resort issues and/or nature based tourism experience
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategies leading to organisational/industry growth
  • Experience in on line strategies and business development would be highly considered
  • Demonstrated ability in developing strong internal and external relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can do attitude
