Former Winter Olympic, skier and resident of Falls Creek throughout the winter , Steven Lee, was lucky enough to be at the alpine resort when a perfect coating of snow covered the terrain in the Valley of the Moon.

"It was quite unexpected after days of overcast conditions. There wasn't any other tracks in the fresh snow. It was a reward day, one of those a special mornings, a beautiful surprise," said Lee
Lee is also pleased with the progress of the Falls Creek Race Club skiers and boarders who after last week's competition amongst the three Victorian ski race clubs claimed the majority of the podium spots.
Lee said:"We have a very competitive group of young, up and coming, skiers at present. It is a credit to the mountain and its philosophy of supporting future ski racers."
