| This coming Saturday (September 18) elite members of our national cross-country team and a top Swiss skier Valerio Leccardi (who won this year's Hoppet) will be involved in a Free Skating Clinic. Interested skiers who wish to take part in this offer should assemble at the YMCA Windy Corner Cross County Ski Centre at 9.30am. If you do not have your own skating skis the knowledgeable team at Windy Corner (located at trail head of the alpine resort's network of skating and classic groomed trails) will be happy to rent you some. A one and half hour free skating clinic with any of the national team members, or the hot Swiss skier, would enhance a participants skating skills. After the valuable input from the expert skater,s there's lots of time to take advantage of the numerous groomed skating tracks which fan out from the Nordic Bowl. Cross-country trail passes can be purchased from the YMCA Windy Corner Cross County Ski Centre. An Adult trail pass is $11 and a child (5-17 years) just $5.
