Falls Creek - one of Victoria’s premier alpine resorts known for its European village feel is adding another development to its list this season with the opening of the boutique development Fjäll this winter.

Fjäll (pronounced fee – yawl) is a true ski in/ ski out resort, located just in front of the Wombats Ramble home trail. The apartments offer one of the most stunning views on the mountain with all apartments looking over the picturesque Tawonga valley.
Fjäll, Scandinavian for mountain has been created marrying the European traditional ski lodge feel with a contemporary twist. Each apartment feature smoked and limed oak timber floors and wall paneling; custom designed oak timber joinery with Calcutta marble bench tops and heated balconies for entertaining in winter.
Each apartment has access to its own ski & drying room in addition to the heated balconies are a welcome addition for outdoor entertaining.
Designed by well-known architectural firm Salter Architects and interiors by Hecker Phelan & Guthrie, award winning design firm known for projects such as Comme, the Botanical, and the heavily publicised Ivy in Sydney.
The aim for Fjäll is to create a true alpine retreat, creating an environment that gives you that real rustic mountainous feel while still luxurious and contemporary, a great place to sample a local wine in front of the fire and enjoy the view.
Falls Creek was chosen as the resort of choice for Fjäll as Rise Developments believe the mountain offers the best of both worlds, great skiing in winter, and having the lake offers a huge number of possibilities in summer that you won’t find at the other resorts.
