Applications for a range of Falls Creek Ski Lifts employees from Ticket Sellers to Ski Instructors are now open for snow season 2009!

Whilst Falls Creek Alpine Resort has a strong return rate of seasonal staff there's always an opportunity to join the hard working team for the snow season.
Dallas McDonald, Falls Creek Ski Lifts HR Manager said: "We encourage prospective new members of our winter staff to apply online (www.fallscreekemployment.com) and hopefully attend one of our group based interview sessions in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, which will be at venues which have easy access by public transport.
"The interactive group sessions (which are a lot of fun) are followed by an opportunity for our mangers to meet applicants one-on-one. After our employment 'roadshow' is concluded we'll advise the successful applicants.
"At the venues when we are meeting the numerous people seeking employment we are brutally honest about what they should expect at Falls Creek, the good and the bad, throughout winter.
"We'll show footage of the resort and explain our pay rates and other conditions and benefits, plus the roster system and the opportunities to pick up extra shifts if they are keen to top up their weekly remuneration.
"All selected applicants who will be working at least 38 hours a week will be offered subsidised accommodation actually in the snow.
"Our quest to recruit new faces for the Snowsports School will be done in two stages this year. There will be an assessment on day one of the clinic and those who are successful will move on the next stage which takes place over the following four days.
"We always welcome casual applicants for teaching positions, particularly from strong skiers and boarders. In the resort's peak periods these part timers can be of tremendous value.
“Even if you have never taught before, we can get strong skiers/boarders with great communication skills trained up to be teaching beginner to intermediate classes like a pro!
