| Numerous ski lodges such as Astra, Alpha, Viking, Ripparoo, Lakeside & Schuss Ski Club don't charge kids under two years old for accommodation. Falls Creek Hotel does not charge for kids 4 years of age and under for accommodation and meals. 5-14 years old's are charged 50% off adult tariff when sharing with two adults at the family-owned and operated hotel. Trackers provides special meal times for its young guests and children to 14 are eligible for a 40% discount (when sharing a room with two adults). Attunga Lodge also offers the 40% discount to children up to 14 years of age when sharing a room with two adults. Feathertop Alpine Lodge has a children 5 years and younger free offer and a 30% off its adult rate for children aged between 6-14 years of age under. At the family-friendly Diana Lodge children between 3- 5 years old are charged $50 a night which includes meals (breakfast and dinner). Also family-friendly, Cooroona Alpine Lodge has a Kids Special - they are half price including meals between 16 - 31 July when sharing with two adults. If a child is sleeping in a cot at Pretty Valley Lodge there is no charge at this lodge which is renowned for being an ideal spot for families. It is located alongside the Falls Creek Express Chairlift which is used to gain easy access to the award-winning children's supervised Snowsports School. The MILO Snowclubsport 4 Kids (aged 3-5 years) is situated within the purpose-built complex alongside the popular Cloud 9 restaurant located at the top of the Falls Creek Express Chairlift. Each morning parents sign-up their eager charges with the well-trained Falls Creek Snowsports School instructors who provide tailored ski tuition for either the morning, afternoon or the entire day. A Learn to Ski or Board Pass for a child between 6-14 year old is only $62 a day and it includes access to a number of ski lifts and two hour class lesson. As Falls Creek has a vast amount of child-friendly terrain the young skiers and boarders (under the guidance of a qualified instructor) quickly acquire the skills to negotiate the resort's gentler slopes and beginner to intermediate terrain parks.
