26 - 27	Mile High Dragon Boat Championships Rocky Valley Foreshore came alive for the 4th Annual Victorian Mile High Dragon Boat Championships on January 26th and 27th, 2008.
27 - 27	Audax Alpine Classic Cycling Race The Audax Alpine Classic sees more than 2,000 cyclists travel through some of Victoria's most spectacular countryside in the north west Alpine region of the state, including the challenging ride up Bogong High Plains road into Falls Creek.

09	Mile High Tennis Tournament Why not come and compete in the Mile High Tennis Tournament held annually in February at Falls Creek.

07 - 10	Falls Creek Artist Camp & Master Classes A series of workshops and master classes in a range of mediums using the natural beauty of the Bogong High Plains as inspiration.
07 - 10	Artist's Camp 2008 This March long weekend, some of Australia's most talented artists will call Falls Creek home for a week of being challenged and inspired by the spectacular surroundings of the High Plains!
22 - 24	Easter Festival Heaps of fun activities for young and old including a giant Easter Egg Hunt, Big Easter Breakfast, Acro Clown, music, outdoor cinema and much more!
April
07 - 12	Keen Adventure Race Competitors will start in the picturesque Alpine Resort of Falls Creek on the Bogong High Plains, and navigate through an incredible range of landscapes and wilderness all the way to the Ocean. Racing over mountain summits well above the tree line, down remote mountain rivers, through hidden caves and deep gorges, and along stunning stretches of coastline to finish where the rivers meet the sea at Lakes Entrance in East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.
25	Anzac Day Dawn Service Watch the sun rise over Eagle Rock above the village and remember our fallen heroes in this special dawn service on top of Victoria.
