Falls Creek's closest commercial airport is Albury on the border between Victoria and New South Wales. Direct flights to Albury are available from Sydney and Melbourne with connecting flights from other major centres through Qantaslink, Rex or Virgin Blue. Once on the ground, you can hire a car at Albury Airport with Thrifty, Avis or Hertz.
NB: During Winter ensure any rental car provider will cover vehicles above the snowline and remember in winter to rent snow chains at one of the many retail outlets in Mt Beauty or Tawonga. You do not need to worry about this during Summer

Bright Helicopters offer a service that allows you to transfer to one of their helicopters for a quick trip straight to the resort. A flight from Albury to Falls Creek is around 30 minutes flying over Victoria's highest peak, Mt Bogong, with spectacular views of Victoria's high country. These charter flights are $1,000 from Albury with the same cost for day trips (fly in and out return same day). Flights from Melbourne to Falls Creek cost $3500.
