| Bogong Alpine Village is a hamlet of 23 houses and a café in a seasonal European garden setting beside Lake Guy, halfway between Mt Beauty and Falls Creek on the Bogong High Plains Road. Once a hydro electric workers town, it is now an accommodation village with two, three and four bedroom self contained houses and a licensed café. The beautiful gardens also boast barbecue areas (including one undercover one with an open fire), tennis courts, canoes, and a walking path around the lake. In summer it is a place where you come with family or friends to relax in the gardens, catch trout in the lake or mountain streams, visit local wineries, play golf or walk the high plains. In winter you can snuggle up with a good book or a film in your cottage, sit by the open fire in the café and chat with friends… or you can take a short drive to ski slopes of Falls Creek for a day of activity and excitement. |
