The Falls Creek Alpine Resort Management Board is responsible for ensuring the Falls Creek resort is available for alpine recreation and tourism throughout all seasons and accessible to persons from varied cultural and economic groups. The Board also ensures management of the resort is undertaken in a manner which is respectful of the alpine environment and economically, ecologically, and culturally sustainable.
The Board works closely with the Alpine Resorts Co-ordinating Council, the statutory body charged with the responsibility to plan and facilitate management of the six Victorian Alpine Resorts.
Members of the Board serve three-year terms and appointments (made by the Victorian Minister for the Environment) are based on skills in administration, management, finance, environment, law, marketing, and tourism.

Mark Anderson
|
Mark Anderson is the Chief Executive Officer at Doutta Galla Aged Services Ltd, an aged care provider caring for over 600 elderly Victorians. He is the current chair of the Audit Committee for the Victorian Auditor General’s Office, a Board member of the Melbourne Comedy Festival and an Audit Committee member of the Building Commission Victoria.

Lyn Gibbs

Lyn has been a member of Falls Creek Alpine Resort Management Board since 2001 and lives at Falls Creek. She is the General Manager at Falls Creek Ski Lifts Pty Ltd and an active member of the local community.

Graham Irish
|
Graham is joint chief executive and substantial shareholder in a cinema exhibition company and owner of a commercial hotel, restaurant and apartment complex in Falls Creek. He has extensive involvement in Falls Creek, including being on the executive of the Falls Creek Chamber of Commerce for past six years. Graham has travelled extensively to alpine and mountain regions in Australia as well as NZ, Europe and North America.

Jacques Merkus
|
Jacques has been employed in senior management roles within tourism and hospitality and other service industries for more than 35 years, including Village Manager of the Thredbo Ski Resort and Director of Kosciuszko Thredbo Pty Ltd; General Manager of the Ayers Rock Resort and Yulara Township, Northern Territory; CEO of the Dreamworld Theme Park, Gold Coast; CEO of John Fawkner Hospital, Melbourne and CEO of Telstra Dome, Melbourne. He has also been a director of numerous companies, both public and private, has served on the executive of the Mt Beauty & District Chamber of Commerce for the last 6 years and is currently owner/operator of a motel/restaurant and conference facility in Tawonga.

Sandra Paul
|
Sandra was appointed to the Falls Creek Alpine Resort Management Board in 2007. Sandra was previously a member of the Board at Lake Mountain and this as well as her experience as a former winter Olympian in cross country skiing ensures she understands the issues faced by alpine resorts in Australia.

David Shaw - Acting Chairperson

David is currently in his second term as Deputy Chair. He is a partner of the law firm Holding Redlich. Prior to working with Holding Redlich, he was employed in the Commonwealth public service. In the course of his legal career David has specialised in trade practices law, administrative law, industrial law, employment law and equal opportunity law.

Carol Stuart
|
Carol is director of Bogong Communications Company. Educated and raised in Bogong Village and Mt Beauty, she divides her time between Melbourne and North East Victoria. A former journalist at The Age newspaper and government minister media adviser, Carol runs a media and communications company providing speech writing services and media, public relations and editorial advice to Government, industry, and education sectors.
