Falls Creek in Winter

The official snow season for 2010 begins on the Victorian Queen’s Birthday long weekend (12 June 2010) running until Sunday the 3rd October. The Falls Creek Ski Lifts company operates the lifts, snow making, grooming, etc for the resort while Falls Creek Resort Management coordinate cross country ski terrain and grooming.

Cross Country Delight
With more than 60km of groomed cross country trails there’s a lot to see across the picturesque Bogong High Plains. You might even catch a glimpse of the Australian National Cross Country Team who call Falls Creek home every winter. We are also the proud hosts of the largest international snowsports event in the southern hemisphere, the Kangaroo Hoppet, which forms part of the prestigious World Loppet race circuit.
