Falls Creek's on-snow transportation service to get you and your luggage where you need to go in the village.

The Accommodation Transfer Service Terminal is located on the Bogong High Plains Rd as you enter the village (the old "Oversnow Transport" building).

The service features a fleet of Prinoth Husky all-terrain vehicles which will take you to your destination in absolute comfort. These modern, rubber tracked vehicles are heated, and can operate on the village roads with or without snow.

The Husky is an ideal vehicle for Falls Creek conditions with turning and braking capacity designed to support snow retention in high traffic areas.

Do I need to use it?

Depending on where you are staying in the village you may need to use the Accommodation Transfer service to transport you and your luggage to your lodgings. This depends on how accessible your accommodation is to the Bogong High Plains Rd.

When booking your accommodation, ask whether this service is required or contact the Visitor Information Centre on (03) 5758 1202

How do I use the service?


Head for the Accommodation Transfer Terminal - it is located on the Bogong High Plains Road as you drive into the resort with a large sign reading "Welcome to Falls Creek"


Park in a space out front and unload your gear as directed onto a provided luggage trolley. An attendant will help you to a carpark once unloaded and return you to the Terminal via free shuttle.


Head to the ticket window to purchase a ticket.


Line up for Gate 1 or 2 as indicated on your ticket. The lines on the floor correspond with Green heading to Gate 1 and Yellow heading to Gate 2

How do I book my return journey?

The best way to do this is by pre-booking your return journey when you arrange your first trip. This can be done in person at the ATS terminal to one of our staff members. If you are concerned that you may not know exactly what time you want to leave until the day before, you can always call within 24 hours to change your return journey booking time. Please keep in mind that during peak times such as school holidays and weekends, high demand may mean that you can't secure the return journey time you are after. For this reason it is always best to pre-book ahead!

You can purchase Accommodation Transfer tickets at the Accommodation Transfer Terminal.

What is the Luggage Allowance?

A standard luggage allowance includes 2 pieces of luggage, 1 pair of skis or snow board (with boots and bindings) and 1 piece of hand luggage per person.

Excess luggage is charged at $3.00 per item.

Excess luggage is determined according to our large Eco-friendly Transit Carry Bags. These hold a number of bags of groceries, bedding, or other items you may need on a holiday in the snow.

These bags can be purchased for $2.00. An amount from every Transit Carry Bag sold will be contributed to Falls Creek Sustainability and Environmental Management Initiatives.

Don't forget Falls Creek has a licensed supermarket, so you can get all your supplies on-mountain. That makes your holiday at Falls just that little bit easier!

Hours of Operation

The Accommodation Transfer Service Terminal is open 7 days a week:

  • Monday - Thursday from 8am to 10pm
  • Friday from 8am to midnight
  • Saturday & Sunday from 8am to 10pm

For arrivals outside of these times, drivers will be directed to a temporary overnight parking area, however Accommodation Transfer will not be available.
